Charli XCX already ruled the pop world in 2024, and now she’s taking that same brilliance to the big screen. The pop innovator and Brat mastermind is set for a massive year in film, starring in multiple projects that perfectly blend her signature edge, fashion, and wit.

First up, Charli’s A24 mockumentary “The Moment” (which she not only stars in but also conceived the story for) is set to arrive early next year. The film, directed by Aidan Zamiri, follows a pop star preparing for her first tour and features a wild, star-studded cast that includes Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, and Jamie Demetriou.

She’s also part of “The Gallerist,” a high-glamour thriller starring Natalie Portman and Jenna Ortega, set during Miami’s iconic Art Basel, plus she’s reportedly joining Dakota Johnson’s directorial debut, “A Tree Is Blue.”

But the most talked-about project? Emerald Fennell’s new adaptation of “Wuthering Heights.” Charli not only wrote the soundtrack, but she also turned it into a full album.

The film, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, hits theaters on Valentine’s Day 2026, and it’s already shaping up to be both haunting and heart-shattering.

The first preview from the upcoming project, “House,” featuring The Velvet Underground’s John Cale, drops next Monday, November 10th.

Charli shared a short teaser featuring her in period costume, face-down beside a raven as Cale’s voice murmurs, “Can I speak to you privately for a moment?” The strings, the drama, the tension… it’s giving gothic pop cinema.

One thing is clear: Charli XCX is no longer just shaping pop culture; she is pop culture.
