This is not a drill. Hilary Duff is officially back in her pop star era and she’s not playing with us!
Today, Hilary announced her brand new single “Mature” arriving this Thursday, marking her first single release in ten years since 2015’s sparkling fan favorite, “Sparks” from “Breathe In. Breathe Out.”
The nostalgia? The full circle moment? The CHILLS.
“So happy this is finally yours to hear. Been keeping this one quiet too long. My new single Mature is out Nov 6,” Hilary shared on Instagram today, and honestly… we felt that. A decade of waiting and manifesting, and Lizzie McGuire herself is coming home to pop.
This moment has been building ever since Hilary confirmed she was working on new music in September while signing with Atlantic Records, officially launching her comeback era. We don’t have a ton of deets yet on the album’s sound, but she recently told Variety she’s excited for longtime fans to hear what she has been creating.
If you grew up blasting “Come Clean,” crying to “Someone’s Watching Over Me,” and twirling to “What Dreams Are Made Of,” welcome back. We made it.
“Mature” drops Thursday, and yes, we will be refreshing at midnight.
