It’s happening! The queen of our lives is getting closer to sharing what she’s been cooking up in the recording booth.
Hilary Duff, who signed with Atlantic Records in September, is continuing to tease her long-awaited return to music, and it sounds like fans won’t be waiting much longer.
Speaking with Variety at Vogue World: Hollywood 2025, Hilary revealed that she’s been hard at work in the studio with her fellow-iconic husband Matthew Koma and “a few other amazingly talented people.”
“My fans are going to hear something so soon, like in the blink of an eye,” she said.
This marks Hilary’s first major music era since her 2015 album Breathe In. Breathe Out., and fans have been manifesting this comeback ever since.
Hilary also shared that she’s currently filming a docuseries about her return to music and personal life, directed and executive produced by Sam Wrench, known for his work on some of the biggest concert films of the decade.
The series is expected to premiere early next year, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at Hilary’s creative process and her journey back to center stage.
“I always knew I was going to return to music,” she said. “I needed to feel safe and I needed to have the right people in my corner and be absolutely 100 percent ready. Honestly, I needed to have 10 years of life under my belt. I needed a lot to say. This album feels like the inner workings of my brain, and I really am so excited to connect with people again on that level, that very forward-facing level.”
The new music promises to capture everything fans love about Hilary: authenticity, heart, and the kind of emotional honesty that made her a generational icon.
