Slayyyter has done it again, and this time, she’s gone completely feral in the best way possible.
Her new single “CRANK” just dropped, and it’s a full-throttle, tequila-drenched, hyper-glam descent into chaos. Written by Slayyyter and produced with Wyatt Bernard and Austin Corona, the track is a delirious blend of camp confidence and club-ready filth.
Released via RECORDS/Columbia Records, “CRANK” finds Slayyyter fully in her pop villain era: confident, chaotic, and louder than ever.
From the opening beat, “CRANK” explodes with attitude. Lines like “He wanna fuck Slayyyter, Richard, we should link later” and “I get so gay off that tequila” are instantly iconic, unapologetic, unfiltered, and made to be screamed at 2 a.m. from the middle of a sweaty dance floor.

In her own words via press release, Slayyyter describes the single as “CONFIDENT, TWEAKERY AND ANTHEMIC.”
“IN POP AND DANCE MUSIC I FEEL LIKE THERE IS AN EXPECTATION FOR SONGS TO HAVE SOARING VOCAL MELODIES OR REALLY PIN POINTED LYRICAL CONCEPTS. WHILE MAKING THIS RECORD IT FELT VERY FREEING TO SCREAM ABOUT NONSENSE WITH DISTORTION ON THE MIC. SOME OF MY FAVORITE ONE LINERS I HAVE EVER WRITTEN LIVE ON THIS SONG. CALL IT WHAT YOU WILL, IT’S ALL DANCE…”
And she’s right. “CRANK” thrives on that wild, distorted freedom. It rejects pop precision in favor of raw release, channeling the manic thrill of the dance floor at its most unhinged.
The music video, directed by Slayyyter herself, is pure pop fever dream. She’s giving cinematic Americana meets feral Barbie as she’s stomping through the woods in an oversized flannel, sunglasses, and a furry trapper hat while gripping a rifle like she’s hunting both heartbreak and haters.
Elsewhere, she twirls through a living room wrapped in fake animal pelts, balances en pointe in beige stilettos beside taxidermy and vintage bar décor, and clutches a massive trophy on a retro floral bedspread.
There’s even a quick-cut baseball field fantasy and a glitter-streaked bathroom breakdown that feels straight out of a fever dream… mascara running, camera shaking, and pure cunty art film energy.
Speaking about the video, Slayyyter says,
“I WANTED THIS VIDEO TO LIVE IN THE SAME WORLD AS BEAT UP CHANEL$ AND CANNIBALISM! BUT FEEL MORE BACKWOODS AND CHAOTIC AT ITS’ CORE. I FELT VERY INSPIRED BY MY CHILDHOOD AND MIDWESTERN UPBRINGING WHILE MAKING THIS ALBUM, AND DISTORTING IT INTO SOMETHING UNSETTLING AND DREAM-LIKE. RABBIT HUNTING SEASON!”
It’s chaotic, cinematic, and perfectly Slayyyter; a feverish blend of trailer-park glamour, Y2K horror, and DIY pop fantasy.
With “CRANK,” she continues to build her own twisted, dazzling universe, one where confidence and chaos can coexist, and every scream becomes a hook. Slayyyter’s not chasing the pop wave; she is the wave.
