ROLE MODEL lit up New York City last night with his debut as the official musical guest on the second episode of Saturday Night Live season 51, and both performances were absolute perfection.

He performed his emotional track “Some Protector”, setting the tone with a heartfelt and intimate moment that had the crowd locked in.

But it was the second performance that sent fans (and the internet) spiraling. ROLE MODEL returned to the stage for “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out,” where none other than Charli XCX surprised everyone and came out as Tucker’s infamous “Sally girl.”

The episode itself was a stacked night for surprise appearances, with Amy Poehler hosting and Tina Fey and Seth Meyers making unannounced cameos, creating one of those classic SNL moments fans will be talking about for a while.

Between the Charli cameo and ROLE MODEL’s stage presence, his SNL debut felt like a full-circle moment, and honestly, he delivered.
