The wait is finally over: Mariah Carey has released her sixteenth studio album, Here For It All, and it’s already being celebrated as one of her most inspired eras yet.

The 11-track record is stacked with collaborations, featuring Anderson .Paak, The Clark Sisters, Kehlani, and Shenseea, each adding their own touch while still letting Mariah’s unmistakable voice remain the centerpiece.

And according to Mariah herself, the journey isn’t over: she told Apple Music she’s already thinking about a deluxe version, even hinting that Paul McCartney might join in.

“I’m still hoping that Paul McCartney might play something on it… but he might lay something for the deluxe version. I would be thrilled out of my mind,” she said.

Fans are already raving. One listener took to Reddit calling it “such a gorgeous sounding album” and “a celebration of all of her career.”

Critics are echoing that praise, with Entertainment Focus saying it “feels like classic Mariah Carey while at the same time offering something fresh,” while Billboard highlighted how “Mariah’s sparkle doesn’t dull on her 16th studio album.”

Ratings Game Music added that it’s the perfect balance of soulful collaborations, playful anthems, and heartfelt ballads a body of work that proves her legacy is still shining as bright as ever.

Reflecting on the process, Mariah shared with Vogue: “I really enjoyed making this album. I really went with the flow and let it shape on its own. From start to finish, I didn’t know how it was going to end up, but it worked.” And worked it has.

With Here For It All, Mariah Carey reminds us why she remains the definition of an icon; still reinventing, connecting, and still giving us music that feels timeless.

Fans can stream the album everywhere, as well as get vinyls and CDs of the new record, too. Head to Mariah’s official website for all the good stuff!
