Mariah Carey is in a brand-new era, and she’s doing it on her own terms. The legendary superstar sat down with Gayle King on CBS This Morning to open up about her upcoming album, “Here For It All,” a project the network described as “a deeply personal project born out of grief, healing and creative renewal.”

“I would say it’s new Mariah, but still sounds like Mariah,” she teased of the album. “But there’s a little twist to it that makes it a little bit different.”

Mariah revealed that the title track was actually the first decision she made for the record. “The last song on the album I decided first. I was like, okay, first of all, we’re gonna do the last song’s going to be Here for It All. And I’m gonna make it the title track. It’s just something that feels good to me and I didn’t want people to miss it.”

The album has already given us two singles: Type Dangerous, released June 5th, and Sugar Sweet, which arrived July 25th. Both songs were performed live during Mariah’s unforgettable night at the MTV VMAs, where she was honored with the prestigious Video Vanguard Award.

Now, the lambs are just days away from hearing the full vision. Here For It All officially drops September 26th via Gamma, with pre-saves available now and vinyl + merch bundles ready for pre-order through Mariah’s official store.

It’s a project that promises the honesty, power, and undeniable magic only Mariah Carey can deliver, and we’re here for it all.
