Djo has surprise-released The Crux Deluxe, a brand-new edition of his third album, The Crux, which originally dropped in April via AWAL.

The deluxe version features the original tracklist plus 12 (!!) new songs. It’s basically a whole new record to obsess over, and fans are already calling it one of his most ambitious projects yet.

This album serves as a companion piece for The Crux, and a peek into the process that went into putting that album together,” Joe said of the album on Instagram this morning. “I knew I wanted to release more music and the more I worked on getting it together the more I realized I had more to share than I initially intended,” he said.

Although this is a new album, it didn’t feel like a new body of work to me, these were all written within the same window as the songs that made The Crux and sonically and lyrically explore similar themes that I was grappling with in my own life,” he added.

The best part? You don’t have to wait, The Crux Deluxe is streaming everywhere now. And if you’re a collector, physical editions (CD and vinyl) are up for pre-order on his official site, making it the perfect add to your shelf.

Of course, the music isn’t just staying online. Joe is hitting the road this fall for the Another Bite Tour, an extension of his Back On You Tour. Fans can check out dates below and grab tickets now to hear the new record live, which, let’s be real, is going to be next level.

A “deluxe” album felt like the most fitting title, to pull back the curtain and see what was left on the cutting room floor,” Joe added. As a lover of all behind the scenes content this felt like a cool opportunity to do the very thing I love to see from other artists.

Joe Keery has always been full of surprises, but this deluxe drop feels like a gift. More music, more chaos, more Djo. We’re eating.
