The newly gorgeous bride and wife, Charli XCX, closed the book on her brat era last night in the most Charli way possible: a euphoric, high-energy, and unapologetically iconic set at the One Universe Festival 2025 at Seoul Grand Park.
“This is the last show in a while, and I’m so happy that I’m here in Seoul,” Charli told the crowd. “And also a huge thank you to everybody who helps me make this show happen. To all my crew, all the people backstage, I wouldn’t be able to do this without you guys, thank you.”
The finale came complete with a special firework display and the now-legendary summer outro that first blew fans away at Coachella back in April (the perfect exclamation point on an era that has defined pop culture as a whole).
A Career-Defining Tour Setlist
Charli delivered her signature brat tour setlist, opening with the 365 (Remix) and powering through fan-favorites like 360, Everything Is Romantic, Sympathy Is A Knife, Track 10, Apple, Speed Drive, and more. Each performance was tight, fearless, and brimming with the kind of confidence that has made this her most celebrated era to date.

The Apple dance, which took over TikTok and social media at large, has been one of the most viral music moments of recent years. At her shows, the moment became a playful spectacle, with the camera cutting to special guests and fans in the crowd.
Throughout the tour, faces like Troye Sivan, Julia Fox, Alex Consani, George Daniel (her husband), Jenna Ortega (yes, I was there!), Gracie Abrams and Ayo Edebiri lit up the big screen.

The Era That Changed Everything
The brat era wasn’t just a success; it was a cultural shift. From the “Brat Summer” trend encouraging people to embrace their most unapologetic selves, to dominating charts and awards shows, Charli’s vision became the blueprint for pop stardom in 2024 and 2025.

Brat was named Best Album of 2024 by Billboard and Rolling Stone, earning eight Grammy nominations (including Album of the Year and winning Best Dance Pop Recording for Von Dutch, Best Dance/Electronic Album, and Best Recording Package).
At the 2025 BRIT Awards, it swept Songwriter of the Year, Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Dance Act, while it debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, marking Charli’s highest chart position in the US, and according to Metacritic, it had the highest ratings of 2024 and is now the fifteenth highest-rated album of all time.

Her releases didn’t stop with the standard edition. The pop star dropped brat’s deluxe edition just three days later, followed by brat and it’s completely different but also still brat in October.
Singles like Guess with Billie Eilish and Talk Talk with Troye Sivan kept momentum high, and high-profile onstage moments: from Dua Lipa bringing her out at Wembley for 360 to her joining Billie in LA for Guess, turned this into a true superstar era.

Charli’s Next Chapter: Film
Now, following the success of the era and promo, Charli is shifting her focus toward film. Shortly after her Seoul performance, she took to Instagram to share a striking photo from the night, along with a short clip featuring a film slate teasing her upcoming A24 project The Moment, a movie based on an original concept she created.
In addition to The Moment, she’s also set to star in and produce a film from acclaimed Japanese horror director Takashi Miike. Her other roles also include the upcoming erotic thriller I Want Your Sex, as well as the satirical drama Sacrifice, and the fantasy adaptation 100 Nights of Hero.
This transition only further cements her as a multi-dimensional artist, one who has mastered music and is now making her mark in cinema.

Impact, Recognition & What’s Next
For years, Charli XCX has been ahead of the curve. Blending sharp pop instincts with an avant-garde edge, and now, the world has now finally caught up to her art. This era cemented her as one of the most innovative and influential voices in music, someone who shapes culture rather than follows it.
Closing out brat in Seoul wasn’t just the end of a tour, it was the celebration of a pop star fully in her power, one who is inspiring an entire generation to be bold, experimental, and unapologetically themselves.
And if this was the “brat” era? We can only imagine how hard the next one will hit.
