Demi Lovato is done playing it safe. The GRAMMY-nominated superstar just dropped her latest single, “Fast,” and it’s not a comeback; it’s a reintroduction.

Out now with an official music video that’s giving us fire, flashbacks, and full fantasy, “Fast” is the first taste of what fans can expect from Demi’s forthcoming ninth studio album, described as a “celebratory dance-pop” record by Rolling Stone.

Think club lights, catharsis, and a whole lot of cunt (the best kind, obviously).

In classic Demi fashion, she didn’t just deliver a pop banger, she made it hilarious. One of the most iconic moments in the music video? Demi references some of her most viral memes, proving once again she’s in on the joke and always ten steps ahead.

The single racked up an impressive 1.345 million streams on Spotify, debuting at #154 globally, a strong start for a brand-new chapter.

Executive producer Zhone captured the vibe best: “This album is about letting inhibitions go, and we had so much fun making this music! It really comes across throughout.

Last night, Demi popped up for a surprise appearance at LOOSE Los Angeles, giving fans another sneak peek with a new unreleased track called “KISS.” Based on what’s online? She’s serving bold, sensual, and powerful: it’s giving everything we’ve missed and more.

Music isn’t the only thing Demi has cooking, literally. Back in June, she announced her first-ever cookbook, “One Plate at a Time,” which is set to be released in 2026, featuring over 80 recipes that focus on joy over perfection.

Stepping into the kitchen and learning how to cook has been such an important part of my recovery,” Demi shared. “It’s helped me reconnect with myself and see food as an act of love.

@ddlovato

I am so excited to announce my first cookbook: One Plate At A Time 🩷 Stepping into the kitchen and learning how to cook has been such an important part of my recovery and healing my relationship with food. This book is filled with simple, comforting recipes that have allowed me to reconnect with myself and find both freedom and joy in my kitchen – feelings I never thought I could experience. It has allowed me to see cooking as an act of love and kindness to myself and those in my life, and I hope this book can bring that same feeling into your home too. One Plate At A Time will be yours March 31, 2026. You can pre-order the book at the link in my bio now! And don’t worry, I’ve been cooking outside of the kitchen too… 😉
