In a plot twist worthy of a pop star rebrand, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen isn’t just tossing touchdowns anymore, he’s sketching buffalos, rocking custom headwear, and stepping into a whole new title, Director of Billustration. Yes, really.

New Era Cap just expanded its partnership with the heartthrob in a major way, making him the first ambassador in company history to receive equity. Allen has been a face of the brand since his rookie season in 2018, but now he’s also a partner, and, clearly, someone with a sense of humor.

The announcement came with a two-minute New Era Cap short film starring the king himself, where he leans all the way into his new role, showcasing the hand-drawn buffalo he sketched last year (you know the one, it kind of looks like a potato).

That same viral doodle now lives on the limited edition 9FORTY Billustration Team Cap, available in both blue and white. Stylish, funny, and full of team pride? Honestly, it slaps.

The best part? The collaboration isn’t just for show. Josh and New Era are also teaming up with Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, where his family established the Patricia Allen Fund in honor of his late grandmother.

This season, Josh will wear nine different hats to each home game; all designed by young patients at the hospital. After each game, the one-of-a-kind caps will be auctioned off, with proceeds supporting the hospital’s pediatric care team.

Whether you’re a die-hard Bills fan or someone who just appreciates when athletes use their platforms for good (and fashion), this move is a touchdown in every way.
