Netflix is turning up the tension this fall with its newly announced thriller, “The Woman in Cabin 10,” starring Keira Knightley in a chilling new role.

The platform dropped the official poster for the film today, giving fans their first look at what’s set to be one of 2025’s most gripping psychological thrillers.

Directed by Simon Stone and written by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse, the film is adapted from Ruth Ware’s best-selling 2016 novel of the same name.

Knightley stars as Laura “Lo” Blacklock, a travel journalist covering the launch of a luxury yacht cruise. Things quickly spiral when she believes she witnesses a woman being thrown overboard in the dead of night. The only problem? All passengers are accounted for, and no one believes her.

Lo’s determination to uncover what really happened pushes her deeper into a web of secrets, danger, and deception. According to the official synopsis, she risks “putting her own life in danger” in pursuit of the truth.

The film boasts a stacked cast including; Guy Pearce, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Hannah Waddingham, David Ajala, Art Malik, Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, David Morrissey, Ayọ̀ Owóyẹmi-Peters, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Paul Kaye, Gitte Witt, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Christopher Rygh, and John Macmillan.

Netflix confirmed that “The Woman in Cabin 10″ will premiere globally on October 10, 2025, with a full trailer expected to drop in the coming weeks.

Until then, the atmospheric new poster is giving us all the stormy, high-seas mystery we’ve been craving.
