Selena Gomez is expanding her empire, and this time, it’s sel-sational.
Rare Beauty, the singer and entrepreneur’s beloved beauty brand, is officially launching its first-ever perfume in just a few days. The Eau de Parfum, available on August 7th through Sephora, Sephora.com, and RareBeauty.com, is already creating buzz for more than just its notes.

According to a press release, the fragrance opens gourmand; with rich caramel, pistachio, and vanilla, before deepening into spicy, earthy tones of ginger and sandalwood. It’s warm, grounded, and designed to last up to 12 hours on the skin.
Created in collaboration with certified hand therapists and packaging engineers, the team ensured accessibility for users with dexterity challenges; a deeply personal detail for Selena, who has publicly shared her journey with Lupus and how it has impacted her physical movements.
“We worked with certified hand therapists and tested multiple prototypes to make sure the bottle was accessible,” Gomez shared. “The wide top was also an intentional choice for anyone to spray it comfortably.”
This is beauty that cares, from the inside out.
In addition to the Eau de Parfum ($75 for 1.69 fl oz), Rare Beauty is also launching four buildable fragrance balms in the following scent profiles:
- Amber Vanilla
- Floral Peony Blossom
- Fresh Bergamot
- Woody Oak
Each balm ($19 for 0.67 fl oz) is designed to be layered with the main perfume for added intensity or a personalized twist, letting wearers create a scent journey unique to them.
With this launch, Selena and Rare Beauty continue to prioritize inclusivity, accessibility, and self-expression; core values that have helped make the brand one of the most beloved in the beauty industry today.
