The campaign, shot by the legendary Petra Collins, is as dreamy, edgy, and unfiltered as you’d expect from the duo. Charli looks like the ultimate party girl muse, commanding every frame with her signature mix of confidence and chaos.
Rumors of the collab have been swirling for a while. Fans first noticed Charli rocking unreleased sneakers around Los Angeles, and she even gifted pairs to fans at London’s LIDO Festival last month. But today, it’s officially official, the Charli XCX x Converse era has begun.
In a new interview with Nylon, Charli opened up about the personal meaning behind this collection: “I’ve always worn Converse,” she shared. “I have an old pair from, like, 10 years ago that are totally beat up, but I still wear them. They’re classic. Even when I’m wearing something wild or experimental, Converse always fits.”
The collection keeps things minimal but striking, very much in line with Charli’s Brat aesthetic. The designs include clean black and white with subtle prints of “angel,” “360,” and “party girl” on the patches and soles.
Two softer tones also make an appearance: a dusty pink-type shade, and a creamy-type tan shade. The styles are wearable, elevated, and undeniably XCX-coded.
