After weeks of teasing, Slayyyter has finally announced the release date for her highly anticipated new single “BEAT UP CHANEL$,” dropping August 1st. The track is now available for pre-save, and based on the sound of the snippet and the visuals she just dropped… we’re not ready.
Today, Slayyyter posted what appears to be a music video teaser, giving fans a first look at the aesthetic of the new era. Think: glitter, destruction, Y2K rage, and high-fashion violence.
“BEAT UP CHANEL$” arrives on the heels of Slayyyter’s electric run on the Tits Out Tour with Kesha, where the two pop disruptors performed their collab “ATTENTION!” live for the first time. Spoiler: it absolutely slayed. The tour may have wrapped, but the momentum is only getting louder.
As a longtime Slayyyter stan, I genuinely could not be more excited for this release. Her versatility is insane, her visuals always eat, and her ear for pop? Untouchable.
Every era feels like a new universe, and if “BEAT UP CHANEL$” is any indication of what’s coming on the next album, we’re about to be fed. Slayyyter is truly one of one. Prepare your wig glue, August 1st can’t come soon enough.
