Heidi Montag is finally getting the flowers she’s deserved for over a decade, and in her new interview with Z100 New York, the pop princess opened up about the journey, the tears, and what’s next for her music career.

Fifteen years after the release of her cult classic album Superficial, Heidi is back in full force. Her long-awaited sophomore album, “Heidiwood” came out on May 30th, and she just confirmed that the third record is “already almost done.”

“I’m gonna continue on a similar trajectory, but definitely branch out and have the sounds be a little bit different,” she said when asked about the new record’s direction.

While she’s still working with some of the producers who’ve been with her since the beginning, Heidi revealed she’s also collaborating with a variety of new creatives to evolve her sound and keep pushing boundaries. This next era isn’t just a continuation, it’s a level-up.

But the most emotional moment came when Heidi spoke about how much the recent support for her music has meant. After years of being dismissed, she’s finally being recognized for the pop brilliance she’s always had.

“It’s emotional,” she said, clearly moved by the long-overdue praise.

She also opened up about the song “Flash,” a song she fought hard to be on the record. Heidi says the track is incredibly personal, and if you’ve heard it, you know it hits deep. It’s a love song, a cry song, and a believe-in-your-dreams song all at once.

As for what’s next? “There are a lot of new tracks coming soon,” she teased.

So yes, more Heidi is coming, and our girl isn’t stopping the serve train anytime soon. Pop is better with Heidi Montag in it, and the world is finally catching up.
