The wait is over. After teasing fans with a chilling preview nearly nine months ago, The Strangers: Chapter 2 has finally dropped its full official trailer, and it’s every bit as brutal and relentless as you’d expect.

Madelaine Petsch reprises her role as Maya Lucas, picking up where Chapter 1 left off. Seen recovering in a hospital after surviving a home invasion, Maya learns that the nightmare is far from over. The Strangers are back; this time, they’re determined to finish what they started.

Directed by horror master Renny Harlin and written by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland, Chapter 2 promises a relentless descent into terror. The newly released synopsis reads: “The Strangers are back – more brutal and relentless than ever. When they learn that one of their victims, Maya (Madelaine Petsch), is still alive, they return to finish what they’ve started. With nowhere to run and no one to trust, Maya must survive another horrific chapter of terror as The Strangers – driven by a senseless, unceasing purpose – pursue her, more than willing to kill anyone who stands in their way.”

The Strangers: Chapter 2 hits theaters September 26th, just in time to deliver full-throttle fear for the fall season. It’s the second installment in the new trilogy, with Chapter 3 already completed and set for release in 2026.
