Bad Bunny is heading home in the biggest way possible. The global superstar just opened up to Variety about his long-awaited 30-night residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, which he calls No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí (I Don’t Want to Leave Here), which kicks off July 11th and running through September 14th in San Juan, less than an hour from his hometown of Vega Baja. What a full circle moment!
“This idea has been in my head forever,” he shared. “But as time went on, it became impossible to ignore. I’ll be honest, finishing my last tour was tough because all I could think about was this next chapter.”

The first nine shows were made exclusively available to Puerto Rico residents, who had to show proof of living on the island at one of nine special ticket locations. Within eight hours, over 80,000 tickets were sold, bringing in $11 million.
The remaining 21 shows will open to fans worldwide. Around 400,000 concertgoers are expected the magazine reported, two-thirds traveling from abroad. It was also reported that a staggering 700,000 fans signed up for early presale access.
Bad Bunny also revealed that his original dream was to do a huge, free show just for Puerto Rican locals: “If it were up to me, all the shows here would be free,” he said. “But what we’ve planned now is next level.”
After the residency wraps, the king will hit the road for a 56-date stadium tour starting in November in the Dominican Republic and closing in Belgium in July 2026, featuring an entirely new production from the Puerto Rico shows.
For fans both local and global, this residency is more than a concert run, it’s a moment in history.
