Get ready to click your heels three times, because The Wizard of Oz is officially taking over the Sphere in Las Vegas this summer, and it sounds like an absolute dream. Tickets are on sale now for this fully immersive experience that will make you feel like you’ve been dropped straight into the land of Oz.

In collaboration with Warner Bros, this brand-new take on the beloved classic opens August 28th as part of The Sphere Experience; the venue’s signature showcase that uses every mind-blowing tech feature Sphere has to offer.

Think haptic seats, environmental effects, custom scents (yes, you’ll literally smell the Yellow Brick Road), and a massive 160,000 sq. ft. display that wraps the audience in every scene. It’s The Wizard of Oz like you’ve never seen, or felt, before.

The original 1939 film has been fully remastered, with its legendary soundtrack re-orchestrated and pumped through Sphere’s 167,000-speaker system, making “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” sound more magical than ever.

Fans will join Dorothy, Toto, and the whole crew on their way to Emerald City in a completely reimagined way while still preserving the charm and heart of the movie we all grew up on. The experience will run approximately 75 minutes, perfect for fans, young and old, to fall in love with Oz all over again.

And because Vegas loves to go big, Sphere even unveiled a wild new photo moment outside the venue: the Wicked Witch of the East’s giant legs (complete with 22-foot ruby slippers!) sticking out from the ground, like the witch just got flattened by Dorothy’s house.
