Horror fans, prepare yourselves—Ready Or Not is officially getting a sequel, and yes, queen Samara Weaving is back.
The sequel, titled Ready Or Not: Here I Come, will once again be directed by Radio Silence duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, with a script by returning writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy. Filming kicks off this week in Toronto, and if the casting is any sign, this film is about to be next-level iconic.
Joining Weaving in the new installment is a jaw-dropping cast that includes Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, David Cronenberg, and fan-favorite Kathryn Newton. (A true horror multiverse moment?!)

“We’re thrilled to be returning to the world of Ready or Not with Samara, Brett, Avery, and Andrew,” said directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett via Deadline. “And so excited to work with this immensely talented cast and the incredible artists across every department joining the Ready or Not family.”
The original 2019 film became a cult favorite for its sharp satire, twisted thrills, and Weaving’s breakout performance as Grace—making her one of the most beloved final girls of the last decade.
Now with a loaded cast, beloved original creatives, and a killer title, Ready Or Not: Here I Come is shaping up to be the horror event we’ll be counting down the days for.
In the meantime, watch the first one on Hulu and more now!
