Addison Rae is officially in album rollout mode. The multi-hyphenate superstar just released her newest single Headphones On, a nostalgic bop that feels like it was ripped straight from a 2001 coming-of-age movie soundtrack—in the best way possible.

The early 2000s-inspired track was co-written by Addison herself, alongside producers Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd, blending sugary synths, punchy beats, and a hook that’s impossible to forget. It’s fun, flirty, and perfectly in line with Addison’s signature aesthetic.

The release comes fresh off an iconic surprise moment at Coachella weekend one, where Addison made a special guest appearance during Arca’s set. The unexpected cameo wasn’t just for fun—it was to tease the release date for her very first studio album, officially expected to drop June 6th. Talk about a main pop girl move.

The Headphones On music video takes things to another level, with Addison debuting neon pink hair and wired earbuds (a Y2K dream). Shot in the cinematic landscapes of Reykjavík, Iceland and directed by Mitch Ryan, the visuals are as bold and striking as the track itself.

Diet Pepsi, Aquamarine, High Fashion, and Headphones On will all appear on the debut album—an eclectic lineup that already promises bops only.

Stream Headphones On on all platforms, and keep your eyes glued to Addison’s Instagram for an official album announcement… coming very soon.
