PinkPantheress has entered her new era — and it’s looking like her most cohesive and confident one yet. The British alt-pop darling has officially announced her upcoming mixtape, Fancy That, dropping May 9th via Warner Records UK.
“Announcing this tape marks a huge milestone for me as an artist,” PinkPantheress told fans online. “This feels like the most tied together project I’ve applied myself to as an artist and for my fans who have been with me for years. I hope they can hear the signs of growth in me as an artist.”
The first taste of the mixtape is here with “Tonight”, a dreamy, vintage-infused track paired with a luxe, hyper-British visual shot at a grand country manor. With big “LET THEM EAT CAKE” energy, the Tonight video feels like a playful nod to old-fashioned aristocracy — but with a modern, kitschy twist. It’s very PinkPantheress-coded, in the most deliciously U.K. way possible.
Fancy That will feature nine tracks and dive deep into her signature sound, blending nostalgic pop, drum & bass, and garage with a fresh edge. The mixtape embraces all things kitsch and British — just look at the extremely Britain-coded album cover. According to a press release, Pink collaborated with a handful of standout producers on the project, including aksel arvid, Count Baldor, phil, Oscar Scheller, and The Dare.
This mixtape is shaping up to be the ultimate PinkPantheress project — playful, self-aware, and impossibly British. Pre-order and pre-save Fancy That now, and check out the official tracklist below.
