Only Lady Gaga could build an opera house in the middle of the desert and make it feel like the most intimate, yet explosive, performance on Earth.
Billed as “The Art of Personal Chaos,” Gaga’s Coachella weekend one set last night was truly her show — a full spectacle broken into four cinematic acts: “Of Velvet and Vice,” “And She Fell Into a Gothic Dream,” “The Beautiful Nightmare That Knows Her Name,” and “To Wake Her Is To Lose Her,” all leading into a grand, emotional finale.

It wasn’t just a concert. It was theater, rave, confession, and fever dream wrapped into one.
Midway through the show, Gaga surprised the crowd by bringing out Gesaffelstein to perform “Killah,” a track from her new album Mayhem, which is out now. The moment was dark, electrifying, and everything her Haus Monsters could’ve hoped for.

Of course, Mother Monster gave fans the hits they came for; “Poker Face,” “Judas,” “Born This Way,” “Bad Romance,” “Paparazzi,” and more were all part of the high-voltage setlist. Scroll down to see the full list of songs performed, and keep an eye on Coachella’s YouTube channel for the official recap stream coming soon.
Online, fans were living: “it all looks like a music video recorded live in front of a massive audience,” one fan posted to X. “There will never be another lady gaga this is everything i want and more,” another added.
At one point during the show, Gaga addressed the crowd with a message straight from the heart:
“I love you so much, I wanted to make a romantic gesture to you this year, in these times of mayhem. I decided to build you an opera house in the desert.”
And build it she did. Gaga gave everything — the voice, the visuals, the chaos, and the catharsis. It was a career moment and a Coachella set for the books. Are you ready for more Gaga next weekend?!
