Get ready to scream, stream, and pre-order, because Britney Spears’ legendary sophomore album Oops!… I Did It Again is getting the anniversary vinyl treatment it deserves.
This morning, eagle-eyed fans noticed mysterious listings pop up online for a 25th anniversary edition of the iconic album—and pop culture blog Derek Please was quick to spill the tea. While there’s no official announcement (yet), it looks like the cat’s out of the bag… and into our carts.
The collector’s edition is already available for pre-order on Amazon, and Derek also confirmed that a major L.A. record store has it up on their site, too. So yes, it’s real—and yes, we’re already calling it the holy grail of Britney vinyls. Thank Godney!
According to the Amazon listing, the deluxe reissue will be housed in a stunning hardcover package and include a 20-page booklet filled with never-before-seen and rarely seen photos from the Oops! era.
It will also feature two fresh remixes—“Stronger (Adamusic Remix)” and “Oops!…I Did It Again (Pessto Remix)”—and will be pressed on sleek black vinyl. Oh, and did we mention? The cover art is also getting a makeover, with a brand-new alternate cover that’s to die for.
Whether you’re a diehard vinyl collector or just a nostalgic pop fan, this release is a must-have. With the nostalgia for Y2K in full swing and Britney forever holding a place in our hearts, this reissue feels like the perfect way to celebrate 25 years of pop perfection.
