Tate McRae made her highly anticipated return to Saturday Night Live last night, and let me tell you—she delivered. After making her debut as SNL’s musical guest in November 2023 with Think Later hits “Grave” and “Greedy,” she was back and better than ever, this time performing my two favorite tracks from her newest album, So Close To What—“Sports Car” and “Dear God.”

McRae’s performance was fresh, hot, and everything we love about her. She commanded the stage with effortless energy, sultry vocals, and that signature cool-girl edge that makes her one of the most exciting pop stars right now. Whether it was the sleek choreography or the way she simply owned the moment—Tate was serving, as always.
