If you went back in time and told thirteen year old me that Joe Jonas was going to release a second album, I probably would shit myself and scream with joy. I mean can you blame me? My little gay heart preforming in my mirror to “Love Slayer“? Simply one of his best, and one of my personal favorites.
Well… it feels like I’m thirteen again because Mr. Jonas is back and better than ever! After years of grueling pain waiting for more solo material, Joe will release his second studio album, ‘Music For People Who Believe In Love,’ on October 18th via Republic Records. To celebrate the exciting news, Joe dropped his first single from the upcoming record today, called ‘Work It Out.‘
“This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope, and love. These songs reflect on my life from a bird’s-eye view acknowledging the many blessings around me,” Joe shared with fans via letter on his website after announcing the new record.
“When we take a moment to breathe, pause, and reflect on the positives, my hope is that we can find acceptance and ultimately peace in the present moment. It’s okay to cry and mourn a loss – it’s part of the process to take care of ourselves and eventually enables us to be there for the people we care about,” Joe said. I mean… where are the tissues because I am sobbing and need this album stat!
