The wait is over ladies, gays, and gents! Omar Apollo’s new album, “God Said No,” is officially here! The twenty-seven year old heartthrob has been teasing the new record for a while now, and my god, it was worth the wait. “I held this close for a year, now it’s yours. ‘God Said No,’” Omar wrote to fans today.

There are a lot of talented artists in the industry right now, both male and female. While everyone is unique with their own sound and style of art, it’s simple to say Omar Apollo is doing just that; and it’s making him the best of the best. Omar isn’t doing what he’s told or what the “norm” is in music right now. He’s pushing the bar higher constantly and there simply will never be another male artist to top this record. Drag me if you want- it’s a fact.

It can be hard picking a favorite song when you’re hearing an album for the first time, but I have to say that “Less of You” is quite up there as to being a favorite on the record. You get lost in the sound of music, sometimes wanting to dance, and of course will get turned on by Omar’s voice; listen, you’ll see for yourself.

Omar will kick off the the “God Said No World Tour” in just a few weeks starting in Melbourne, Australia. The US leg of the tour will start on August 20th in Indianapolis and make it’s way through cities like Detroit, Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto, Boston, New York, Orlando, Houston, and more before wrapping up in San Diego on October 11th.
